"I'm looking for a celebrant who won't cost an arm or a leg."

All authorised marriage celebrants have one thing in common - at the end of your ceremony, you'll be legally married.

But, the way we get there can differ a lot, and before you start enquiring with celebrants, have a bit of a think about how you feel about the ceremony, and how your ideal ceremony would feel.

Would it feel serious, and traditional, with a bible reading and a poem, or two?

Would it be so funny, that some of your guests might mistake the celebrant for a stand up comedian?

If it's either of the above, to be honest, I'm probably not the celebrant for you.

The ceremonies I create for my couples are a mix - there will be some laughs, for sure, but there'll also be some serious loving moments for you. ! After all, it's not every day you get married, and I'm required, by law, to tell you that marriage is solemn and binding.

I like to get your guests engaged and leaning in, listening as I reveal the love between you, in a lighthearted and engaging way. I'll dig deep to find out some interesting little tidbits to share with your guests!

If you think of the ceremony as the boring bit, I'm definitely not the celebrant for you.

And even though, my prices are very reasonable, if your main criteria for a celebrant is that they don't cost an arm and a leg, I'm not your celebrant.

Or rather, you're not my couple.

My favourite couple's are the one's who care about their ceremony, the way it feels for them, their family and their friends. After all, (cliché warning!) without the celebrant, your wedding is just a party.

And, if I did charge you an arm and a leg, what would I do with them? Any one fancy a roast meal?
