When it comes time to exchange rings in your ceremony, I'll ask this question, and usually the best man or a child will bring the rings to me.
Alannah and Mason, who married on 29th October, 2022, wanted something different, so between us we hatched up a plan.
The rings would be in a box, which would be taped underneath one of the chairs.
I asked everyone seated to feel underneath their chair and whoever found the ring box to come forward.

It didn't take long before someone came forward. I positioned them in place to be ready to open and reveal the rings.

But then, another person came forward with a ring box found beneath their chair.
And then another.
And another!
Four people were standing with me, all with ring boxes.

sI asked them to all open their boxe on the count of three.
One, two, three.
The boxes opened, and...
No rings!
Then the best man caught my eye and winked.
I love a couple who play a trick, not only on their guests, but also on me.
Well played Alannah and Mason, well played.
